Story

Hello!

We are Immy and Liz, two best friends from Southampton raising money for MNDA.

It is a cause which has unexpectedly and devastatingly become a charity close to our hearts. Immy's Mum, Rosemary, was diagnosed with the disease in March 2017, just as she was about to retire from her long teaching career. It is an incurable disease which affects 1 in 100,000 people. For those unlucky few it is an unimaginable upheaval. We have been supported and helped by MNDA, as well as the NHS, so we would like to try and raise money to help them fund research and also offer care to those sufferers of this most horrible disease.

We travel to Paris, not for the cheese and wine, but to run over 26 miles in the name of charity. We are a midwife and actor team that are determined to cross that line.

We are not runners. Marathon training is bloody hard! Please dig deep!
