OUR STORY!

Yay!  We conquered Mount Snowdon!

Off we set from Manchester on the morning of Saturday 1 July arriving in sunny Llanberis, Wales just before noon after taking a little detour due to the coach driver getting lost..  it did give us the opportunity to see more of the amazing views that Snowdonia has to offer though.

Not being experienced climbers it was tough going for most but we all managed to reach the summit in around 3 hours.  Sunshine all the way until reaching the top where it was extremely cold, very windy and started to rain.

Photographs taken (check some of them out below), we started the descent - unfortunately it did rain for most of the way down and everyone looked like drowned rats by the time we reached the bottom around 6.30 pm.

After another coach ride and quick hot shower, a well deserved meal and drinks awaited us at the Imperial Hotel in Llandudno.

A fabulous time had by all (even if we did have a few sun burnt faces).
