On the morning of my 3rd Fast, after prayers Sohail and i decided that we couldn't sit back any longer whilst people in our communities were hungry, lacking basic necessities. It was time to do something to make a difference to the lives of people in need. An idea was born where we would ride our bikes from our home locations Birmingham and Dewsbury and meet in the middle! Easy Peasy 🙄 NOT REALLY!!

I for one have not rode a bike since long distances Ever let alone riding 70 miles across the country, however we were determined to organise the event for a great cause, we have since had another 18 members of our inner circles, friends and family join us and the idea has come to life, a date has been set and training is under way. A near impossible task will no doubt be accomplished by a team of dedicated volunteers set out to help the homeless, the hungry and the vulnerable.

We intend to raise in excess of £100,000 overall in the campaign. I would urge everyone to donate what ever you can, little or large it will make a difference to so many lives. This deadly virus has left many families shattered, many have lost loved ones and a huge amount hospitalised. People are struggling financially and we would like to do what ever we can to ease their burdens!

I have decided to donate the proceeds to Just Care, a charity set up 18 months ago locally in Bradford by a couple of committed individuals who have done a vast amount of work within the charity sector, Without a financial gain or reward. A 100 % Donation policy guaranteed. Since inception i have witnessed Just Care do an amazing job at helping the less fortunate, donating thousands of meals to refugees, helping cancer patients even paying for veterinary operations. A great amount of work is being carried out right now, volunteers and co founders are on the ground delivering meals, helping people on a daily basis. They make a huge difference to the lives of people that need it the most. A charity that is very close to my heart ❤ I plan to do many projects with them in the future God willing.
