Hello everyone! 

Many of you who know me, will be aware that last year I had the amazing opportunity of visiting Bangladesh with the organisation Selfless to take part in their Elective Aid programme. During the summer, I worked alongside Medical students, fellow dental students and healthcare professionals to deliver medical and dental aid to those in poverty. Last year was also the start of a new dental programme called ' A brush with Kindness' which invovled delivering biodegradable toothbrushes, toothpaste and oral hygiene instructions to the patients and teaching them about preventative care. It involved 3 health care camps where a dental clinic was set up, in which we would provide consultations, referrals and even fluoride varnish application for the children in order to promote the importance of oral healthcare. As well as that, we had the opportunity to visit 7 different schools where we would deliver oral hygiene lessons to every single class which approximately was 1500 school children. All of this could not be possible without your donations so thank you so much!

This year I have decided to change it up a bit and finally do something I have put off for a long time - a sponsored sky dive! I have wanted to do this since I was a kid and now that I have this amazing initiative to work for, it's now or never. The skydive will be sometime In June, a month before we fly out but this gives me enough time to hopefully raise as much as money as I can. Any donation you make, goes straight to the charity and will pay for the onsite medication we provide, toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby bundle kits and fund many of our other projects. Update: 

In light of the current situation with COVID-19, our this year's selfless trip is sadly postponed till next year. However, I will continue to fundraise through out this year and the money raised will instead be used for the 2021 trip. Thank you guys all for your generous donations 🥰 

P.s: I am still doing that skydive when life goes back to normal 😂
