Story

On April the 4th 2020, our Dad tragically died from pneumonia caused by the Covid-19 virus. He was aged just 61.

During his time on ICU at Darlington hospital he received not only the best medical support and intervention possible but he was also cared for by truly outstanding Nurses and Doctors.

Their compassion and empathy towards us at this time will remain with us always - they did everything they possibly could and at the end of Dad's life the Nurses ensured we got to say goodbye to Dad as they held a phone to his ear. They held Dad's hand until the very end so that he was not alone...

In truly sad times, their kindness will never be forgotten. Ever.

Thank you
