Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Seven of us have decided to take part in Men's Health - Survival of the Fittest to raise as much money as we can to help Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, Rainbows is a place where life-limited children and their families can find care and support. Their incredible team of people helps relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.

Survival of the Fittest is officially a decade old, making it the longest running obstacle course anywhere. The gritty, urban and exhilarating obstacle courses are well known for the big event feel and for obstacles you simply don't see anywhere else.

Nottingham is the original home of Survival of the Fittest and is bringing in changes for its special 10th anniversary year. The event is being relocated to the National Water Sports Centre this year, so we are expecting a course that delivers multiple dunkings !

We hope that you can support us and donate to help make a difference to the charity !

About the charity

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
