The British Transplant Games 2021 · 5 August 2021 to 8 August 2021 ·

We're fundraising to send 'Team Leeds' to the Transplant Games, an annual sporting event celebrating transplant patients and the donor families. This year the games will be held in Leeds from 5th-8th August.

Story

I'm taking part in the Manchester 100 cycle Sportive on Sunday 11th September 2022.Leeds Charity is selfunding. Monies raised will go to the funding of crucial equipment. With myself having had a Liver Transplant in September 2021. I understand the need for such equipment and the dedication that the Team at St James go to make life achievable. I'm extremely grateful and fortunate and for that I feel delighted to undertake cycle events like this, as I mentioned to raise funds and just as important AWARENESS. Next Year I'm planning on taking on a bigger challenge - cycling from Manali to Leh in the Himalayan region of India. Its all at altitude and covers 6 High Passes and 2 are the Highest Motorable roads on the Planet. I'll be starting the planning in the New Year so please keep an eye out..
