Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m raising money for St Giles Hospice

Last year my partner’s best friend & my daughters god mother lost her long, hard fought battle with cancer. This dreadful illness has robbed her husband, my daughter, partner and all of her friends of a truly wonderful woman, who gave herself selflessly for others.

Regrettably we are not the only ones to be touched by this vile illness. Towards the end of her journey, Yvonne was wonderfully looked after by St Giles; who gave some much needed respite and support

We can only hope that one day they will find the cure for cancer, but until then, the least we can do is give the support and quality of life they deserve whilst they fight their battle.

These 26.2 miles will be hard but nowhere near as hard as the journey cancer sufferers and their families face.

Thank you so much for your support.
