Story

Whoa!!! I did it! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. The abseil was yesterday and and with your generous help I have smashed my target and raised just over £1000.00. It was a great experience and a great day. The rain held off and the wind blew from the other side of the tower. As anticipated 'going over the edge'was indeed the most scary bit but with the 15 foot practice decent, inside, just before the main event and the confidence instilled in me by the experts it wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. The money raised will be used by the trust to support the work of the Evelina Children's Hospital in helping children like my Daughter Chloe who as you know by now has been helped beyond our expectations by the work and dedication of the staff of the complex Motor Disorders team at the Evelina. It's not too late to donate and donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Guy's and St. Thomas' Charity gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor me now! Thank you to you all! Ian
