We help children born without eyes to reach their potential and enjoy life

Story

What possessed me to enter my first ever Marathon after 53 years and two knee operations...... well two very good causes. One to raise money for MACS a great children's charity that has supported Jacob a family member. Two to support my godson Chris.... who entered me!

I would really appreciate your kind support... in the form of donations please. Big thanks. Ian

Jacobs story:- Jacob is a sweet natured, happy 4 year old boy who loves doing what all 4 year boys do, playing with his brothers and cars. He has had a tough start in life, he was born with Microtalmia. This is a condition in which Jacob was born with only one eye and limited sight in the other. As a baby he has bravely endured numerous operations and tests at London Moorfields Hospital to create a false eye. He is injected daily with growth hormones and bravely tackles his learning difficulties and his speech and language delays.

MACS has provided amazing support to Jacob and the family throughout his hospital visits and operations. We would like to do a little something to say our thank you to them.
