Ian Clarke Remembrance

On the 27th of November 2018, Ian Clarke's brave battle against cancer came to a close. He was 59 years old.
A caring man, with an unstoppable work-ethic and passion for inspiring those around him to reach their absolute potential, Ian leaves a wonderful legacy and many cherished lessons and memories.
This page has been established to provide everyone with a platform to share memories and pay their respects. Rather than receiving gifts and flowers, it is also the wish of Ian's family for all heart-felt and generous gestures be directed to St. Mary's Hospice (Ulverston), where Ian spent his final weeks. This site provides a secure means to do this, with all proceeds going directly to the charity.
The Hospice is held very dearly by all who loved Ian for the incredible lengths the staff pursued in order to support his fight and ensure his comfort. Our appreciation must also be extended specifically to the Nutwood Medical Practice, Grange District Nurses, the Kendal Lymphology Centre and the Oncology Department at Furness General Hospital. A sincere thanks to all who contributed; you are forever in our hearts.
There is also significant need for sincere thanks to be offered to all who supported throughout. The words and messages, the favours (both big and small), the smiles, the hugs - all have strengthened our shared resolve and your kindness will be appreciated indefinitely.
