This is my second year on the Butt2Barra, having cycled to fundraise for Crossroads last year. I decided to fundraise this year for Bethesda Hospice, a much needed facility which continues to provide care and support to many island families in their time of need.

Bethesda provides 4 hospice beds for specialist palliative care and 21 care home beds. It is required to raise over £370,000 per year to keep the hospice open and offers a much needed and caring service to those who are terminally ill and those who require nursing care.
