Three years ago one of the most amazing people I will ever have the pleasure of calling a friend lost his fight with cancer. Throughout his life, illness and treatment Chris always remained happy, optimistic and thought of everyone else first and above himself. In his own words "I have had many upsets along the way but I always look forward and don't see the point in giving up"

Chris was always a big supporter and fundraisier for a number of charities including Clic Sargent. One of my many enduring memories of Chris is him abseiling down the side of Southampton General Hospital to raise money for Clic Sargent. 

When the opportunity to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower for the same charity came up then I could think of few better ways to honour the memory of this incredible person.

Clic Sargent do incredibly important work caring for children and young people with cancer and they need support in order to carry on this work. Please give generously to help me reach the target and to help fund the future of this fantastic charity.
