I have been fortunate enough to gain a ballot place in the 2019 London Marathon.

My Dad was found to have three aneurysms in 2016.  He was referred to Mr Adam in the Vascular Team at Heartlands Hospital.  Heartlands is the leading Vascular Unit in the area.

Dad had three operations during the Summer of 2016.  He then had to have three follow up operations in 2018 and a further operation in February 2019.

The care and attention he received was amazing. The staff were also very supportive to all of the family and this is something we shall never forget.

My employer will match any sponsorship I receive (up to a £1,000) so whatever you can spare will be automatically doubled.

A special thank you to Jemma and all the team at our work gym. Since I discovered I had my place in the marathon they have been getting me fitter for the event and I have lost over a stone in weight.
