<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Hi and thanks for taking a look at my JustGiving page.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">On <em>May 7th 2011</em>, probably far too early for a Saturday morning,15 other silly people and I will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. This is a gruelling <span style="color: #ff0000;">23.5 mile walk </span>visiting the three highest peaks in Yorkshire (Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough) - an <span style="color: #ff0000;">ascent of 5202 ft</span>. All this in under 12 hours...hopefully.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Apart from blisters, strained muscles and&nbsp;lots of rubbing in unmentionable areas (and&nbsp;that's before we get back to the hostel!) I expect to make&nbsp;a tidy sum of sponsor money. That's where you come in. I've decided to&nbsp;raise as much dollar as possible for <span style="color: #ff0000;">York Cancer Care Centre</span>, which is funded by the charity York Against Cancer. It's local for me but I hope you would agree that any cancer charity is as important as the next so I ask you to dig deep and donate anything that you can afford.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Just think of my feeble limbs flailing around as I trip and fall into Yorkshire's finest sheep shit, or me repeatedly dowsing my delicates in talc for 12 hours with sweat, blood and tears dripping&nbsp;from my balding head. Think of that when you're drifting out of bed at 10am, chewing on a fresh bacon sandwich with a hot cup of tea like a king&nbsp;on your Saturday morning while I, the peasant, wander along like a blind pigeon.
