We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Our dear friend Russell sadly passed away in September 2016, ending a  brave battle, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. A very good friend of over 40 years is very much missed by his family and friends alike.

Russell was a lifelong supporter...and fanatic of Watford Football Club, and also a keen supporter of Middlesex County Cricket Club. We therefore felt it was appropriate to organise a fundraising walk from Lords Cricket Ground, the home of Middlesex, to Vicarage Road, home of WFC. We plan to arrive at the ground shortly before the home match against WBA on the evening of Tuesday 4th April.

Russell's wife Cathy, and their two daughters Lottie and Izzy hope to join us near the end of the walk as we approach WFC. Cathy has requested that all proceeds of the walk go to either Cancer Research UK, or Prospect Hospice (who looked after Russell).

We are all very grateful for any donations, and very much look forward to remembering our close friend in the fundraising walk.

Ian, Lawrence, Stuart, Danny, and Phil
