Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myalgic Encephalomyelitis is a debilitating condition which is not fully understood, and there is no cure yet. More research is needed and therefore I'm raising money for this.
I've already done two sponsored walks for this worthwhile cause and aim to do one each year for as long as I'm able. I've joined the Walk for ME team, which is mainly for friends and families of ME sufferers, though some people with ME will attempt to do a short walk themselves- to the end of the road; to the garden gate; or in some cases, to their bedroom door- these are far more difficult for them than my walk will be for me.
Last year's Bridges of London walk felt just a little too easy, so this time I've set myself a bit more of a challenge. I'll be starting at Baker Street and will walk round the Circle Line (as it used to be, as it is no longer a loop), visiting each station and finishing back at Baker Street. It's about 13 miles by Tube, though probably slightly further by road as it's not a direct route between some of the stations.
I plan to do the walk (rain or shine!) on Sunday 10th of May 2015, which is as close as I can get to International ME Day on the 12th.
