Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!

As most of you know I lost my Girlfriend Ellis last year to SUDEP (Sudden death in epilepsy). This is why on March 16th I will putting on a cabaret/fundraiser to raise as much money as I can for SUDEP ACTION!! Now I know a lot of people can't make this event and this is why I have set up this page so you can still show your support and donate to this great charity!! Every penny counts folks!

For the people who just knew Ellis was my girlfriend and didnt know much about her I want you to read this and hopefully you will understand who she was and why she meant so much to me!!

On the 16 January 2013 we lost Ellis to SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy), she was only 21.

Ellis was diagnosed with Epilepsy at a very young age however; she refused to let it stop her from achieving anything in life. Ellis started dance at Caroline Clare School of Dance in Borough Green where she studied tap, modern and ballet and achieved great success, appearing in a number of shows across the southeast. She attained great academic qualifications from Cornwallis Secondary School and was accepted into Bath University to study an academic course. However, after a short period, she realised that this course of study was not for her and a career in the performing arts was where her passion lay.

Ellis then enrolled at Mandy Ellen Performing Arts College in Maidstone with the aim to become a performer in the West End. Her ability, grace and confidence shone through and she was never more comfortable than being under the spotlight.

Throughout, Ellis had the loving support of her family and friends. She was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, girlfriend and friend whom we love and miss every day.

SUDEP ACTION is a charity that relies on donations in order to maintain the work and support they provide to families affected by an epilepsy related death. They raise awareness through education and also promote research into SUDEP. As a family we discovered SUDEP ACTION since our loss and we ask that you donate whatever you can afford in order to help the charity in the hope of preventing other families from suffering.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

THANK YOU!! X
