Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. On 6th July, I will be walking the Worcestershire Way in a Day - all 31 miles of it from Bewdley to Malvern. I've both done it before (I've almost lost count but I think this will be my 7th!) and know how tough it is but the Hospice always needs support - and every year a few more friends have had to use the services of the Hospice. I was at a wake for a friend who died from cancer just earlier in May.

My mum died from cancer 33 years ago (when she was younger than I am now) when the hospice facilities were not available and that made an awful time that much worse.

I know loads of people are raising money for all sorts of good causes but if you could spare a few quid to help my 58 year old knees down those hills I would be very grateful. As ever, I will be receiving a recharge of the batteries at my local the Talbot at Knightwick which is more or less the half way point.
