Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Result : 357 Ian Robinson M 94 MV40 17 03:36:17 103 03:35:42 102

Well, the job is done! My first ever marathon completed. It was a tough course but completed it in 3h35mins, coming 17th in my age category. Thanks to everyone who has been so generous with your support. My page is open for a couple more weeks so please donate if you have not yet done so. Thanks again.

Down Syndrome Liverpool has played a key role for us with Sophie, from the intitial home visits when Sophie was first born, choosing a nursery setting and preparing for starting school next year, to the social events, which have have enabled us to meet other families of children with Down's Syndrome. Meeting the families and the children of different ages has been a source of reassurance and inspiration (as is our Sophie) over the past 4 years.

To give a little back I thought I would embark on a new and, to be honest, never fancied, challenge of running my first ever marathon at the Brathay Windermere Marathon. Please support this worthy cause with me by giving whatever you can so that DSL can continue their fantastic work with children and their families.

Thanks,

Ian
