Education is the most important foundation in the life of any person. SCC has been working in Vietnam since 1992 to try and provide this essential element for hundreds of disadvantaged children each year. SCC offers scholarships for kindergarten right through to college and vocational training, supporting students throughout. They have provided over 43,000 scholarships and built over 220 schools.

The difference an educated child can make to their community by breaking the cycle of poverty is both immense and enduring.

This will be my seventh year cycling for SCC and the route will be new, in the hills to the north-west of Hanoi, finishing in Mai Chau after 300km over 3 days. As is always the case, the riders personally pay for their costs so sponsors and supporters know that all the money pledged goes directly to SCC.

As ever, your support will be greatly appreciated, not least by those disadvantaged children in Vietnam who can benefit enormously and directly from your contribution.
