Story

The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old and is now the UK's leading mitochondrial disease charity and the largest charitable funder of mitochondrial research in Europe. Every day in the UK a baby is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease.

But there is hope. Great work is being done to find treatments and, hopefully, ultimately, a cure for the condition. I'm very proud that Sarah, my wife, is at the front-line of this research at Newcastle University and is actively involved in the great work of the Lily Foundation.

Every pound you can donate will make a difference and go towards making a difference to those affected by Mitochondrial Disease.
