Story
I have 2 reasons for wanting to help my chosen charity. Scott & Dylan are my son’s. They were unfortunately born very prematurely on 16th September 2003 they’re light faded as they were born too early too sick and too small. Since then I have always carried more weight than I should and in February this year attended my first well being check and weighed in at a staggering 22st. Our family Doctor told me that I wouldn't see 50 years old and that I would be in the ground next to my boys if I didn't do something about it so I decided that I would loose weight for my boys as if they were here they wouldn't want me to die early. I have had a strict regime of exercise and diet and now weigh 13st and to honour their memory I will complete this challenge and donate the money I raise too Bliss they exist to ensure that all babies born too soon, too small or too sick in the UK have the best possible chance of survival and of reaching their full potential.
The typical challenge though involves climbing Snowdon, the biggest mountain in Wales at 1085 meters. To complete the 24 hour challenge I must start at the foot of Ben Nevis and finish at the foot of Snowdon having reached all three summits in under 24hours.
