On 5th September, I will be climbing Ben Nevis in aid of the Childrens Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS). I climbed it earlier this year in memory of my daughter, Megan, who passed away on 9th April of this year. Unfortunately, time and weather was against us and we had to turn back only 800ft from the summit.

However, without them, the whole experience earlier this year would have been even more harrowing than it needed to be. They deserve all plaudits and support given to them
