Story
The North Hampshire Medical Fund is a local charity purchasing specialist medical equipment for Basingstoke hospital. Without this help the Hospital would fall behind with its technology and prevent patients receiving the best possible care and technology available. Some of the projects planned for 2018 include a new Radiotherapy unit (£45k) and a state of the art Laparoscopic simulator (19k), with the aim to raise over £200,000 next year!
To try and help this wonderful charity I will be attempting to cycle the Prudential 100 mile bike ride at the end of July. This route was part of the 2012 Olympics and includes some fun bumps like Box Hill so promises to be a tough day.
Any donation for the cause would be gratefully received!
