On June 17^th 2017 I and numerous others will be walking the first 45 miles of the Derwent Valley Heritage Way from Ladybower Reservoir to the Cathedral Green in Derby in aid of the charity MIND. As well as following the River Derwent the walk also fittingly takes in a good number of Severn Trent Waters sewerage infrastructure sites.

The Walk is in memory of my former boss and colleague Jamie Margetts who sadly lost his battle with long term mental illness in October last year.

I will try to keep this page updated with training as it progresses.

Le 17 juin 2017  moi et nombreux autres marcherons à pied les 75 premiers kilometres de la voie Derwent Valley Heritage Way dupuis Ladybower Reservoir jusqu’au parvis de la cathédrale de Derby au profit de la charité MIND. En plus de suivre la rivière Derwent la promenade suit aussi, comme il se doit, un bon nombre de sites d’infrastructures d’assainissement de Severn Trent Water que j’ai modeliser quand je travaillé.

La marche est à la mémoire de mon ancien patron et collègue Jamie Margetts qui a malheureusement perdu son combat contre sa maladie mentale en octobre l’année dernière.

Je vais essayer de garder cette page à jour avec mon entrainement a mesure qu’il progresse.
