We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My dear mum is now one of the 850,000 people living in the UK with the disease of dementia. If we do not take action this number is on course to exceed one million people within the next few years.

I know that a great many of you have a loved one or friend suffering from this cruel and progressively debilitating disease or have lost such a person to its inevitable outcome. If you are lucky enough not to be in this position, one day someone close to you may succumb if no cure or method of prevention is found. It might even claim you, or me.

I have entered the Ride London & Surrey100 mile Cycle Challenge in an attempt to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society, a leading care and research charity for dementia.

Please support me in this aim by donating on this page. Even the smallest amount will be put to work and together we can hope to beat this dread disease.

Many thanks indeed.
