Story
I am undertaking the Ride London 100 in order to be able to give something back as a thank you for the amazing support and care Diane has received so far, since the initial diagnosis of her Breast Cancer. We have been through the inital treatment and by the time you are reading this, she should be well into the Chemotherapy and hopefully well on the way to getting the all clear. It was a huge shock and came totally out of the blue, especially as she is so young. It has brought home just how fragile life is and that it can change at a moments notice.
For those of you who dont know, Diane lost her father last November and as she was caring from him caught latent Tuberculosis and had to be treated for that as well as having the chemo. The the last few months have been particularly hard to deal with, but I am very proud to be able to say how amazing she has been throughout the whole process. The very least I can do is to ride a few miles in order to be able to give something back to the research into breast cancer and to hopefully help someone else avoid going through what we are.
Thank you for visiting this page and for hopefully making a donation. I really appreciate your generosity, which is helping me to raise as much as possible for such an amazing organistation.
