Second year students at Newark College are organising events to raise money for a local hospice.  The first event is a 30 mile cycle through the Tissington & High Peak trail which includes steep hills and (because it's england) rain.

The second event will be a 'row the channel' held at Asda where the stidents will work together and row the english channel on rowing machines.  They will also be helping the local community pack their shopping bags, all in the name of charity
