In January 2005, my sister-in-law Lorna Blakeley died at the young age of 39 after a long illness. In the final stages she received excellent palliative care at the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. I and several family member are taking part in the Hospice's fund raising event "Steps Under The Stars" so that this charity can continue their good work.
