Story
In October 2007 my brother, Robbie, whom many of you will already know was diagnosed with Leukaemia. This came as a massive shock to everyone as Rob at only 27 is very active and outgoing, playing rugby for Old Bristolians as well as mascoting Bristol Rugby Club in the shape of Brizley Bear.
Since been diagnosed Rob’s life has been turned upside down although he has always remained in high spirits and his determination to beat the cancer has remained untouched. It is impossible to imagine what Rob has already gone through but the way he has handled everything makes me proud to be his brother.
The support from his many friends has been unbelievable and I know from speaking to Rob it does make a big difference. From a personal point of view it is very frustrating not been able to offer more than just my support and it is for this reason I am aiming to cycle from Bristol to Paris raising money for Robbie’s chosen charity CLIC Sargent helping children diagnosed with cancer.
Having dusted off the bike I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to donate generously to this very worthy cause.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and for updates on Robbie’s progress please visit his blog at http://brizzley.blogspot.com/
Thank you for all your support
Iain
