Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My son, Ross and I are taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 19th September to raise money for the Yorkshire Cancer Research charity. We are running in memory of my brother David, who died of cancer last year, and in support of my younger sister, Fiona who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy after a mastectomy. My father and grandparents also died prematurely of cancer so you will understand why this particular charitable cause is very important to us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you in advance for your support.
