Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I thought I would let my wife introduce this adventure...

"Iain’s latest challenge: to embark on an unsupported solo,
single speed cycle around the North West visiting all the Booths supermarkets
in 48 hours.

Why?

It was a simple idea, after looking through their Christmas
catalogue of lovely food ideas I noticed a map of stores; 28 in total and
joked; “I wonder if you could visit them all in a day and get a free coffee in
each one?”

Iain then looked at me and I knew that was that; as an
endurance cyclist he saw the challenge. There are 28 stores from Penrith,
Cumbria to Knutsford, Cheshire and over to Ripon, Yorkshire. It’s a total of
426 miles with approximately 24,321 Ft of climbing, and this is on a single
speed bike! Iain is no stranger to pushing himself and also supporting good causes;
this time its Rethink - a charity which raises awareness of mental illness.

He will do this non-stop over 48 hours and let’s see how
many coffees he can manage. Please support him if you can.

From, a loving wife.
