We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone
Story
My mum was finding it more and more difficult to look after herself without family support which we were finding increasingly hard to provide. After some gentle persuasion from us she visited her doctor and was diagnosed with vascular dementia in April 2009. More than three years on mum continues to live happily in her own home with the support of family, and daily carers.
I have chosen to support Alzheimer Scotland as they help people with dementia, their carers and families.
