Running for Support, Running for Hope
On March 16th, 2025, I’ll be running my first Hyrox race in Glasgow to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. This cause is deeply personal to me.
In September 2024, my dad was diagnosed with cancer, and It’s hard to put into words how life-changing that moment was for our family.
So far, his journey has taught me how vital it is to embrace reality and find strength in connection, knowledge, and taking one day at time. Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it impacts their family, friends, and community in profound ways.
What has made all the difference in our journey is support. Building a network of care—emotional, physical, and practical—has been life-changing for us. This is where Macmillan steps in. They provide the resources, advice, and encouragement families need to face this challenge head-on, helping people with cancer live life as fully as they can.
On race day, I’ll be running for my dad, for my family, for each one of my support system, and for every family navigating this journey.
Your donation will directly contribute to Macmillan’s incredible work, ensuring no one faces cancer alone.
Let’s make a difference together.
Thank you for supporting this cause that’s so close to my heart.
