Story
As a family we have been affected by cancer too many times.
With a family member currently receiving support from Macmillan we understand the importance of having a strong support network from both family, friends and professionals.
Macmillan have, and continue to provide us, and millions of others with such support during challenging times. Therefore, we are coming together to take on our challenge of walking over 600km collectively along the Jurassic Coast to raise vital funds to allow this incredible work to continue.
Say this quickly and it sounds easy, but the reality is very different! This challenge takes place over 24 hours. Three of our team start their 100km trek at 9am on Saturday 21st July, with the remainder of the team joining them to take on final 44km. This means ALL of us will be battling the coastline at night and hence it won’t be as easy as it sounds.
However, we all know that every painful step is nothing compared to the steps that those affected by cancer have to tread, and is why every step will be worth it. We know that we will be making a difference.
Be it little or much, please support us if you can.
Thank you.
