Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

In May, eight members of Haxby and Wigginton Methodist church (Colin, John, Karen, Liz, Rich, Roxana, Rob and Steph) have pledged to collectively run 340 kilometres as part of the Christian Aid week Run to Haiti initiative. Runners around the country will aim to cover the whole distance of 7,137km, the distance between London and Port au Prince in Haiti (this year's Christian Aid week focus country). Parkruns are only 5k once a week, so we are going to have to challenge ourselves to do some midweek training as well, and we would be really grateful for any support you are able to give us in sponsorship to help fund Christian Aid's partners' work with some of the world's poorest people.
