Anxiety is a normal response to stress or danger and is often called the ‘flight or fight’ response. In a survey covering Great Britain, more than 1 in 10 people are likely to have a ‘disabling anxiety disorder’ at some stage in their life, and an estimated 13% of the adult population will develop a specific form of anxiety known as a phobia at some point in their life.
I'm taking part in the Manchester 10k to raise awareness and money for Anxiety UK and the work they do. I would be grateful if you can support my running efforts and this great charity.
More information about Anxiety UK and the work they do can be found on their website.
