IUS Manchester invites you to commemorate the tragedy and martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) with the renowned Dr. Ali Al-Hilli. Dr Ali will be exploring contemporary and current issues that affect our communities and aim to tackle them through the teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) and the Ahlul-Bayt (AS).

IUS Manchester have also invited Sayed Ali Al-Hakeem & Sayed Raza Abbas Rizvi to recite poetry and eulogies of the tragedy of Karbala. 

The 10 night programme will start on Saturday 31st of August at 8pm with congregational prayers followed by the main talk and eulogies. 

This year we are happy to announce a 10-day children's programme which will run in parallel with the main programme. Please see separate flyer for more details.
