Day Four - (Greenhead to Rickerby aka the long road) Done

Day three - (Black carts to Greenfields aka evil crags of doom then a castle) Done

Day two - Heddon to Black Carts

and so it begins

On the 17th April, Athena and I will be setting out, at the crack of dawn with the rest of the team, to start walking Hadrian's Wall.

We're starting at Wallsend, and walking the 84 miles of Hadrian's Wall Path in five days, finishing in Bowness-on-Solway on the 21st April.

The pulling power of a husky will, hopefully, provided Athena doesn't decide to take any alternate routes, be a great help when it comes to getting up the hills. Even if it also means some rather speedy descents....
