We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Maria was inspiring. Inspiration is her legacy because whoever met her felt better, lifted, entertained by her wicked sense of humour and you were valued as just the person you were; you never felt judged. She made you feel special and yet she was so humble with all her talents.

Maria came from a modest background but managed to have a full career as a successful nurse and then went on to gain a chemistry degree and become a project manager testing new medicines.

She inspired many people with her running. Her most successful career was as a wonderful mother. Her four children are a testament to this.

The aim of the day is to get across the values that help a person achieve their potential. To promote the inspiring values of Maria:

  • Vision – see what could you do and where you could be.
  • Believe – in yourself, that you can.
  • Find yourself – your drive to make you do these things.
  • Work hard – at whatever you need to get there.
  • People – get on with them to help you and others, make people feel good.
  • Luck – make some and make the most of it when it comes your way.
  • Enjoy – every moment of life you can.
