The Humanity First UK medical teams work by giving direct treatment to patients and by supporting the doctors and nurses of the Gambia to better do their jobs.
The teams have previously provided training to local doctors and nurses and through the generous donations of sponsors have provided life-saving treatment and equipment.
Our team consists of paediatric surgeons, neonatologists, neonatal nurses and junior doctors.
On previous trips our team have provided machines and training so that newborn babies with breathing difficulties are given life-sustaining support.
