We fund research & raise awareness to support the families affected by Mito

Story

I often used to discuss with a very good friend of mine that we recckoned we could pull in a pretty big crowd if we were to fight in a charity boxing match, I assure you this was not due to the calibre of the boxing!!

Regrettably for us both this meant neither of us could back down and pass up the chance to get in the ring and fight when we were told that John, Liz, Katie and Ben were actually organising a charity boxing event!

The most important reason for doing this though is the great charity that we are raising money for, the Lily Foundation. The Lily Foundation helps fund research into Mitochondrial Disease and other metabolic disorders, the training of medical teams and support for families who are stricken with metabolic disorders. There is much more information at the website: www.lilyfoundation.org.uk

I can guarantee you that the preparation for this fight has not been easy (it's actually f**king hard!) and I have realised there was a reason my sporting days were so far behind me. I can guarantee it is not long until my boxing days are also behind me!

Any donations would be much appreciated and remember, myself and Dan will both be getting punched in the face numerous times. I can't think of much more that is surely worthy of a few of your hard earned pennies!

Even the smallest donation would be much appreciated.
