Story
Friday 13 December: At 10.00 this morning I was arrested in the boardroom at Addenbrooke's Hospital and detained in police custody. Many thanks to all of you who answered my urgent plea for cash to get the police off my back. And apologies but I didn't have anywhere else to turn!
To anyone who hasn't already donated (probably because your phone number wasn't in my book or phone - I really wasn't well prepared!) - I really don't want to be arrested again. If I can raise £1000 I think I should be safe from further police harrassment. £500 will pay my bail for today. It's in a good cause!
Update: See the ACT website for more details and the Cambridge News for the story in the press
All donations will go to the ACT on Cancer campaign which will fund Cancer Research and the development of a new clinical ambulatory Cancer Centre in Cambridge. See the Cambridge Cancer Centre website for some of the work that we are doing to improve the understanding and treatment of cancer
