Story
My Dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in June 2017,and sadly passed away 11th May 2018. I decided when my Dad was diagnosed that I wanted to do something to help other's with Pancreatic cancer. I contacted Pancreatic Cancer UK and started volunteering at different events. I ran the Vitality London 10k in May 2019 raising £608 for the charity. I have since ran 2 half marathons, and in April 2020 I ran 3 miles everyday to raise money for PCUK 💜
Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. It is tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive. For too long this disease has been sidelined. We want to make sure that everyone affected by it gets all the help they need. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer.
