#TeamRefuge runners taking on the 2019 Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise funds for the UK's leading charity for survivors of domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.

Story

A woman is killed by her partner or ex-partner every four days. I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Refuge because it provides life-saving services for women and children escaping domestic violence and other forms of gender-based violence. On any given day, Refuge is supporting more than 6,000 women and children to find safety and begin to rebuild their lives. But they need support to keep their doors open. Domestic violence services have faced significant cuts over the last decade. So please donate to help Refuge keep women and children safe--and I'll try and get round in a respectable time...
