Story

Hello everyone! Now this website wants me to submit "my story", but that all sounds rather soppy and the sort of thing that would be better off on a reality TV show, so instead I'll talk a bit about why I'm doing this in the first place. The whole venture is in part for me to get fit(ish) and for a challenge (anything that gets me off my bum every once in a while is time well spent), and also to raise money for a cause that is less mainstream than I think it should be- at the risk of sounding overly sentimental, I really do love science and any organisation that helps kids to get into it and more importantly to be passionate about it is more than worthy in my books. Any support, however big or small, is hugely appreciated and hopefully I'll complete the race in one piece!

Hugh :)
