I’ve taken the DofE Diamond Challenge!  

I was unable to complete the DofE Scotland team challenge (send Dunc instead - he had a blast!) so I had to come up with a new one.... Over the last few months I have been visiting trig points across the country - from my local one on Lendrick Hill in the Ochils as far as Staffa and Iona to the final one on the 31st of December in the NW Highlands. The last one, Meall na H-Airde, is sponsored by my mum so a bit special!

I had Stan the spaniel as my almost constant companion, so he features in most of the photos - unlike Edie he was happy to pose on top of some of the trigs! 

This was all done to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in the DofE and expand their skills and experience - and it's not too late to add your support so go on and do it! Many thanks, Kate
