High Sheriffs' Go21!
Fundraising for North West Air Ambulance
Fundraising for North West Air Ambulance
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We often see the North West Air Ambulance flying through our skies, delivering enhanced pre-hospital care to people right across the region. But did you know that they are entirely charity-funded?
This year the charity celebrated its 21st birthday, so we decided to set ourselves a December Go21 challenge to raise some money and awareness to thank them for everything they do!
Catherine Penny, High Sheriff of Lancashire will be walking the 63 kms of the Ribble Way.
John Roberts, High Sheriff of Merseyside, will be walking the Wirral Way - twice!
Julie Barton, High Sheriff of Cumbria, will be walking 21 miles in the footsteps of the Air Ambulance, following its path from Coniston to Furness General Hospital.
Eamonn O'Neal (Greater Manchester) and Nick 'Hoppy' Hopkinson (Cheshire) will also be showing their support.
The three walkers will be joined along the way by family, friends, past patients and staff of the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
The highly skilled crews of the North West Air Ambulance Charity attend over 2000 missions every year, serving a population of 8.5 million people. They need to raise £9.5 million to do this.
Please show your support and gratitude by donating what you can.
Thank you.
