Help Us Reach Our Goal. We Can’t Neglect This Special Cause!
The Human Race Foundation (HRF) will hold its biennial charity ball at the May Fair Hotel on the night of Saturday, 17th February. This invitation-only event helps raise money for the Sickle Cell Society.
There’s no affordable cure for Sickle Cell Disease. Most can only hope to manage it throughout their lives.
That’s where we you come in.
It’s very well known— Sickle Cell Disease mostly affects people of Afro-caribbean heritage all over the world. Without quality care to combat chronic illnesses, African nations suffer heavily. This cause is very close to our heart as the HRF started out 35 years ago in West Africa; and we’ve lost some of our members to complications from Sickle Cell Disease.
Please help us achieve our fundraising goal of £1000; every penny we raise will give hope to those suffering with Sickle Cell Disease.
About the Human Race Foundation
The HRF started out as a small student group in Nigeria over 30 years ago. We know people who still suffer from sickle cell. And we’ve had friends lose their lives to this unfair disease.
That’s why we are passionate about promoting this cause. Because it’s close to us.
About the Sickle Cell Society
The Sickle Cell Society started in 1979. Formed by concerned parents and professionals, this group aims to inform people and help those afflicted with sickle cell. All proceeds raised here and during the HRF Charity Ball will be donated to this great organisation.
Please take the time— and give whatever you can to this great cause!
